Asplenium Leslie (Bird's Nest Fern)

Waxy fronds of glossy green radiate from a central growing point in a typical 'bird's nest' shape. Fronds have wavy edges.

 

Prefers free-draining and moist, but not wet, soil or potting mix. Enrich soil with well rotted compost to retain soil moisture. Remove dead or faded fronds.

 

Ideal for planting in shaded areas of the garden, ferneries, shaded courtyards, patios or indoors in brightly lit areas. Well suited to containers or tubs.
